Sometimes I just don’t know what to wear.. it’s not that I don’t have clothes to wear or something… it’s just…
Never mind, don’t want and need to explain it, you know how I feel, right? But whenever I have this kind of feeling, I’ll stick with basics.
Basic is the key for a perfect look. You can easily put all the basic items out of your closet for a simpel yet perfect outfit. You can never go wrong with basic staples! So today I have an outfit of the day ready for you, to show you what my basic staples are.
A crisp white shirt with a loose fit. Perfect for a casual look! Denim skinny jeans, denim matches with practically everything! So definitely a must item to have in your wardrobe. And for shoes: Converse sneakers… I don’t think I need to say why.. All Star Converse are by far my favorite kind of shoes to wear. Lightweight, casual, simple, comfortabel and it matches with everything, yup that’s what I think about All Star Converse…

From previous post, you know I got a 100 euro gift voucher to spend at the Designer Outlet Roermond. So I did :) hehe… There were so many beautiful thing to spend on, so it was quite of difficult to choose of.. But when I came across the Mulberry store, I knew I wouldn’t leave the store with empty hands :) Wanna know what I bought? Then please scroll downwards.
Let me introduce you to my new addition, baby Mulberry Effie zip pouch in the color apricot. In real life the color is more a light apricot. The color is very spring and summer proof. Ideal for days when I don’t want to carry a lot with me. The design of the pouch is very simple so I can dress it up and down very easily.
The leather is super soft. The lining inside has a beautiful pattern, it’s young, fresh and casual. I really like Mulberry because their minimal, young and classy design. What I like even more, is that they don’t have an in your face logo or patterns on their products.
Thank you very much Designer Outlet Roermond and Yara Michels!
What do you think of my buy?
Last wednesday, I went to the Personal style and accessoires trend class event hosted by Yara Michels at the Designer Outlet Roermond. I was very excited of the fact that this was going to be my very first (fashion) blogger event and that I was going to meet Yara Michels from Chapter Friday (This Chick’s Got Style) and 19 other bloggers. When I got arrived at the station of Roermond, there were taxi’s standing outside, ready to take us to the event. Once we arrived the outlet, we were welcomed by Designer Outlet Roermond with a very colorful room filled with a lot of goodies and delicious cupcakes.
To kick off the event they started with a presentation about style and accessoires trends and personal tips and tricks about blogging by Yara Michels. Followed by a Q&A moment where we were able to ask Yara everything. Yara Michels is definitely one of my favorite blogger and she is definitely my role model to learn from.
After the presentation, we’ve got a quick little tour through the outlet it self. So we could see what stores and brands the outlet has to offer. Then it was time to have a little chit chat with the other bloggers and a yummy lunch. Look at all the delicious looking smoothies! Yummers!
And then it was time to…. yep time to spend that 100 euro gift card! Whohoo, tomorrow you’ll show you what I got, that day :)
Oh almost forgotten, that day there was also a camera man with us from Omroep Brabant (a tv channel from the Netherlands television) to film the entire day and interview some bloggers. And I got an opportunity to have a little interview with him. So he asked me some question about the event it self, why I started a blog etc… When he asked if I was OK with it to be interviewed, I became a little bit nervous. But I think it went pretty good :)
Only one thing… because of all the excitement I forgot to ask when it will be aired… humm, silly me :p
After the event Designer Outlet Roermond not just spoiled us with a gift card, but also with some lovely goodies! I’ve never been spoiled this much, thank you very much Yara Michels and Designer Outlet Roermond!
It was definitely a day to remember!
Today’s blog post is about my outfit that I wore to the Personal style and accessoires event by Yara Michels at the Designer Outlet Roermond, yesterday. Yesterday was so much fun, since I’ve got to meet a lot of fashion bloggers and people. I’m going to write a blog post about this event/day. How it was and what we did that day, soon so stay tuned :)
For the outfit, I went for comfort and neutrals like black and white. A white shirt paired with a black skinny jeans and my all time favorite Carter bag by Mulberry.
